  Best Mexican restaurant at the lake!
  
  We've been to them all, and have long wanted a good GoTo Mexican place in Osage Beach. One trip here and we are sold. We will be back!

  I'm kind of on a fence for Mama Cita's.  They try hard. which I attribute to the owner's attention to detail, so I'm a fan.  My wife and daughter, not so much.
  
  We have visited twice, the first time shortly after they opened.   There were three of us drinking and we polished off two of the margarita towers, then drove home with no issues.  We were watching the hockey game, so it was a couple of hours.  Still, I am thinking they weren't very strong.  
  
  The standout menu item based on my tastings, are the carnitas.  They were excellent.   The chiles rellenos were also very good.
  
  Everyone here was attentive and friendly.   As I said, the wife and daughter aren't big fans, probably because nothing really stood out as excellent for them.  
  
  I do suggest checking it out if you are in the area.

  Had several friends recommend MaMa CiTa's and just now got around to trying them out.
  I ordered the shrimp street tacos and my husband ordered the Big MaMa Burrito. We both loved our meals. To top everything off, we ordered the churro dessert. Let me be honest, I was completely against ordering this because I've never liked desserts at Mexican restaurants but friends strongly recommended this too. I'm soooo glad I got it. DELISH!!!
  I can't say this is just like any other Mexican restaurant because it's not. They have their own spin on just about every dish. I like that their menu isn't overloaded with pages and pages of options. They keep it simple here so they can do us on the quality of the items they offer.

  I loved this place! I have been to (literally) every Mexican restaurant in Osage beach/Eldon/Jeff and this one is the best!
  
  1) The salsa is good (comparable to most other authentic restaurants in the area) and the chips came out hot.
  
  2) The spicy salsa is REALLY good. It tastes like they charred peppers and put it in there so it has this smokey flavor. Pro tip: I mixed mine in with the house salsa and it was the perfect salsa combo.
  
  3) The fish tacos were basically perfect. They actually brown the outside of the tortilla so you're not eating raw flour tortilla and the fish was so light and crispy. I also appreciate that they used both green and red cabbage in it. It was very tasty!
  
  4) The carnitas taco was SO GOOD (like the best taco I've ever had and I've had a lot of tacos). It was honestly the star. The meat was juicy, tender, and really flavorful. I highly recommend everyone who goes here try it!
  
  5) I didn't try my husband's burrito but he said it was really good (he didn't care for the queso on top though) and it is honestly massive with a lot of meat inside.
  
  6) Our waitress was really good! She checked on us at all the right times and was very polite and super attentive to refilling drinks, and refilling the chips and salsa.
  
  Great experience! I'm super impressed and thought the facility and decor were nice too! And clean.
  
  I will be coming back for more carnitas (:

  Very good service, chips and salsa were fresh and just how I like them. Beer was cold and hot the spot. Got the shrimp enchiladas and they were delicious! Definitely recommend if your craving Mexican down here at the lake.
